“Returning Home,” an art exhibition now on display to the public in the National Capital District, is organised by Grace Hasu Dlabik, who has roots in Austria, Hungary and Papua New Guinea, and is currently based in Melbourne. The show focuses on art that reflects PNG stories, villages, identity, origins, and how those traditions engage with contemporary existence.

National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop commended the artists for promoting PNG’s cultural richness even from overseas, noting that art serves as a powerful medium for celebrating heritage and guiding the country’s path over the coming 50 years.
